Cookie Exchange Updated 11-29-09
On Sunday, Dec. 6th, the Ladies Guild will be doing a cookie exchange Package cookies individually and trade with others. See Elena Brooks for details.
Coat Drive Update 10-25-09
Due to everyone's generosity 164 people from the community received free coats. Thanks to everyone that donated coats. If you know of someone that still needs a coat some are still available from the Department of Human Services - Ionia Office. Thanks again to all that helped make this a success!
Adam Moffat Funeral and Luncheon
Pastor will be conducting the funeral for Adam Moffat. It is at Schrauben Lehman Funeral home Wed. Oct. 10-14-09. The funeral is at 11 AM and luncheon to follow at St. Andrew. Mary Sandborn is leading the luncheon. Her number 517-526-5024.
Coat and Boot Drive
The Portland Community Fund is having their Coat and Boot drive has started. It runs until Thursday Oct. 15th. We are collecting adult and children's usable coats, hats, mittens, boots and outerwear. We are also looking for donations of new items. On Sat. Oct. 17th form 10 AM to 2 PM the items will be distributed. Any questions ask Pastor Filter.
See You At The Pole
Wed., 9-23, all youth are invited to Mt. Hope chruch for breakfast at 6AM. The youth will then be taken or go to their schools to gather around the flag poles and pray. This is at 7AM. Let Pastor know if you have any questions.
SYAG Bowling Sunday 9-27
Tentive the SAYG will go bowling at Medow Lanes Sunday 9-27 after church. Watch for more updates.
Start of Sunday School
Sunday, Sept. 13th is the first day of Sunday school at 9AM and Rally Day. This will also be Vacation Bible School Reunion of Son Rock Kids Camp. Following worship there will be a pot luck at 11:15 AM. Bring a dish to pass, meat will be provided by the Chruch. All are invited to Jack and Mary's pond after the potluck. See you there.
We have the design for the T-shirts (See Below). We need a minimum of 13 to order. We currently have 6. They cost $11.50 each. The youth cost will be less by using leftover money from the carwash to cover some of the cost.
It starts Sunday Sept. 13th at 9AM.
